  Awesome bakery. Haven't had a bad thing yet. They get buried on weekends so be prepared to wait. Prices are fair...$20-$25 for a dozen pastries / Danish. Basic donut choices. You can grab a cup of coffee and they've got 2 or 3 cafe tables too. Plenty of parking and if you're inclined, the Bridge street entrance to the beach is two short blocks away.

  two words - crumb cake!!! the best, straight up powdered crumb cake anywhere. the glazed and filled crumb cake are also pretty good...as well as all of their pastries (give the danties a try - even the gluten free "go bay head" cookies are awesome).
  
  go early or grab a number and be ready to wait in summer - it can be an hour plus (like 100+ plus people in front of you!)...but know that it is totally worth it which is why everyone is waiting! locals tip when it's a crazy line: get your number, walk to the beach (2 blocks) and enjoy it for 30-45 minutes, then come back for a short wait.
